About Slade Contractors
Slade Contractors Ltd. is a proud, family‑run construction company serving the South Wales region. We carry out all aspects of construction work, delivered by the same trusted team of skilled tradesmen who have been with us from the very beginning.
Our story is deeply personal. After spending over 15 years working alongside my father—who was well‑known and highly recommended within the local industry—we faced an unexpected loss when he passed away suddenly in January 2021. Overnight, we were left with his ongoing projects and new jobs due to start that year.
I visited every customer personally to explain the situation. Although I had never run a business before, I assured them that the same team and the same standard of workmanship would continue if they wished. Every customer agreed. We completed the work, the phone kept ringing, and the support from our community helped us move forward.
Later that year, we closed my father’s business and began a fresh chapter with Slade Contractors Ltd., continuing to look after his loyal customers while building our own reputation across South Wales. Today, we’re proud to be known for high‑quality workmanship, reliability, and a strong local reputation—carrying on the Slade legacy with every project we complete.
